Popups appear in blank

Hi to all, my question is if any of you presents the same problem as I, because the pop ups come out blank, my osticket platform downloads it from softaculous but I reiterate, the popups appear blank, I already contact My service provider and just put me a log error and I get the following 

[06-Jul-2017 15:56:49 UTC] PHP Fatal error: Call to a member function setTabActive () on a non-object in / home / Dabarc / public_html / support / support / scp / profile.php on line 50

someone can guide me to solve this issue?

Unnasign on Department Transfer

Good afternoon,
I was looking for a way to unnasign a ticket when we transfer it departments, but nothing seems to be in place in 1.10.
After researching this a bit, it looks like it was a feature in 1.9.7.
Is there a reason this is no longer in place?

In my mind this is extremely useful for how we use osTicket as we have many departments at our headoffice using it.
Almost all employees only belong to one department, so we always have to assign it to someone in that department (possibly the wrong person) and then transfer it to their department.

Any help is appreciated.

Dashboard Graph dates are wrong

Hi, i´m using osticket v1.9.15  the graph on the Dashboard tab has a problem It appears to be displaying the information correctly, but the dates along the bottom are wrong, i choose the specific date "until now" but only show me information until 2 days ago.  (Attached file).

Make some columns hidden in Ticket->Closed Tickets

Hi i have some question, is it possbile to hide columns only in specific view? E.g I'd like to hide a priority column when you are in ticket->closed ticket. 
Where should I modify code? I was searching in /include/staff/ticket.php but i didnt find out how to do this.

Guest submission problem.

On a new install, when submitting a ticket as a guest, the open.php page reloads as blank - with no ticket created.

Clearly I've missed something on config.

No result from rcron.php when run remotely and Fatal Error from cron.php when run locally???

I am simply trying to set up the polling of IMAP mailbox, but neither methods are working.

System Information:

osTicket Version: v1.10(901e5ea)
Web Server Software: Apache/2.2.31 (Unix) mod_wsgi/3.5 Python/2.7.12 mod_ssl/2.2.31 OpenSSL/1.0.2h DAV/2 mod_fastcgi/2.4.6 mod_perl/2.0.9 Perl/v5.24.0

MySQL Version: 5.6.28
PHP Version: 5.6.25
  • PHP Error log entries or displayed errors. (you of course may remove any identifying information)

  • Mail Sending: phpMail functions or SMTP

On the server Mac I run the command:
'/usr/bin/php /path/to/api/cron.php'
This returns an error:
'<b>FATAL ERROR. Contact adminstrator</b>

I then tried the remote method. I created an API key for a remote client. I edited the rcron.php file on the server and moved it to /api/tasks/rcron.php (I had to create the tasks folder). On the client I then ran the command:
This returns a success message 200 as well as '!#/usr/bin/php -q' and nothing else. I note that this is the first line of the rcron.php file. There is nothing in the system logs in response to this success.

I can't see what I'm doing wrong.



Confused about default form fields.

Requiring just an email address from users, after editing the 'Ticket Details' form there's no textarea for users to add their message.

In admin the 'Ticket Details' form shows:

User Information Fields: email address.Form Fields has two blanks (can these be deleted, or others added?).
And 'Internal Notes' is showing.
I don't know if something like 'Issue details' is required to generate the appropriate textarea - and if so, it presumably needs a type of 'thread entry'... for which I can't find a dropdown option.
I'm neither expert nor idiot, but this does seem confusing.

Gmail images not displayed

Hello,

We are using osTicket v.1.9. Problem is when copying contents from gmail to osticket ticket creation page the images are not displayed and becomes invisible.

Had tried troubleshooting the same and found the images are embedded as inline image and is referring to gmail account.

I don't know how can this be resolved. Kindly help

SSL Connection - Problem with Images

Hello,
I have just purchased a one-year SSL for my osTicket. However, on Chrome, it says the following:

When I contacted support, they said something about "Mixed Contents" and that images needs to be modified manually from http to https.

My question is, how is the world can I do that? Is there an option in the settings to do this automatically?

Email Threading not working

Hi all,

I set the 'Strip Quoted Reply' to disabled as I would like the email thread of the ticket to be visible to the customers.

We are hoping that the customer receiving and responding to the email for the ticket can see previous replies and information. Right now, it is just showing the single current response.

Is there a way to have it so the customer can follow the thread of the ticket?

Can we run two different mail box let's suppose abc@example.com and bcd@something.com, on a single Osticket platform?
If yes, how do we achieve that?

SCP login page - err warning

Hi All,

 Why does the error message on the SCP login page not show the formatted html code links whereas the client login does:

include/class.auth.php Line 253 :

            $result = new AccessDenied(__('Access is denied, please <a href="url">click here</a> to contact us...'));

The part in BOLD (unformatted) is what i see on the SCP login page if login failed, but on the client login (if failed) then i see the correct formatted msg and url as "Access is denied, please click here to contact us"

Please help me fix :-)

how to stop escalation when the ticket status is overdue

Hello there,

I'm using osticket version v 1.10.

i'm looking for the below 

After changing the ticket status 'Overdue' it shouldn't escalate.it only have to escalate when the ticket status is open and In progress. 

Upgrade 1.9.15 to 1.10 error

PHP: 5.5 (ost v1.10 upgrade summary says its compatible)
OS: Ubuntu 14.04 LTS
MySQL: 5.7

I'm getting:

exist
This error repeats 7 times and then the upgrade script stops.

If I click to upgrade again, I get other errors similar to this:

And if I keep clicking to upgrade I always get different errors over and over until it quits to a screen saying "Upgrade Aborted"

I tried truncating ost_role table, pre-creating ost_translation, but I always get a new error about some table already created or non-existence table errors. I could do a manual upgrade but I don't know how to do it.

Temporary Agent delegation

If an agent is on Vacation Mode, or otherwise unable to respond for a while for any reason, it would help to be able to temporarily delegate their role to another agent.  The delegated agent would assume the same permissions, memberships, alerts, etc, for a specified period.

This would have to be an Admin-only decision (unlike the simple "I'm on vacation").

Probably needs an option to either replace or merge permissions etc, depending on whether Fred can cover both John and his own area, or Fred will be seconded to backfill John's team.
