Hi
i am unable to see the resolved and closed tickets in the agent dashboard. After replying to the ticket i have chosen resolved but it was not showing in agent dashboard.

I was unable to delete the ticket statu

Hi, 
i'm running v1.9.5.1 and i'm have some trouble with the file upload from customer side.
It happen only on firefox, it seems to work correctly, no error on front end it even show the preview, but when you submit the ticket the image is no more there, without show any error, even on php logs.
If the image is attached to a ticket reply it work fine.

has anyone experienced this? any idea where i can check why the image is not attached?

Partial translation on 100% lang package

Hello, 

First, sorry if this issue has been discussed previously but i have not been able to find an answer anywhere.

I've installed OSTickets without any problem, as well as the packages and translation file (Spanish in my case, 100% translated and 76% aproved). The problem is in the user interface. Since the most of the text is translated, there are some not translated and still in english like the user data form (Email Address, Phone Number, etc.).

Is 2018 and the total translation stills incomplete or I'm doing something wrong?

If the translation does not work 100%, anyone has a walkaround solution to share with me?

Hi

If i understand correctly the osticket API is only for tickets and cron right? is there any way to create an agent from a FORM from other page? can I do it via mysql directly?


Displaying Topic in the open ticket list

I recently upgraded to v1.10 from v1.8.

In the previous version I was able to add additional columns to the man ticket list view.

I was able to add a custom form field for post code, and that I can still do, but is done as a call to a custom PHP which queries the database to extract the relevant info from tables for the given ticket ID. This obviously slows down the page loading, but I can look at tuning later.

Another thing I was able to do fairly easily in the older version was add the topic to the return data and present that in the list.

In the  upload/include/staff/tickets.inc.php script, this item was in the SELECT column list:

.' ,IF(ptopic.topic_pid IS NULL, topic.topic, CONCAT_WS(" / ", ptopic.topic, topic.topic)) as helptopic '

So in the loop that prints out each ticket in teh list I simply added:

 <td align="center" ><?php echo $row['helptopic']; ?></td>

But, the new version, this is completely esoteric/abstracted, making it extremely difficult to figure out how to re-apply this mod, or go about showing this data (other than doing what I did to show the post code items, but this would really slow it down).

I was also excited to see that custom ticket statuses can be defined, but how to include this in the ticket list?

Invalid csrf token osticket and related problems

When suddenly encountering this error message, I saw there was a code fix of the logon.php.
However, when comparing the code to what I already have, the relevant changes were already implemented, while some others were not.
Of course I wanted to know my current version, but I could no longer logon, so that was not an option.
I found this SQL to execute on the database: select ostversion from table ost_config, but the field wasn't there!!
Then I decided to do an upgrade with 1.10.1. Trying to execute the upgrade.php it asked me to logon.
So there again, I was stuck. I changed the logon.php so that I would not get the csrf error anymore.
But then I got access denied. Thinking that something was the matter with my password, I changed it in the database, with the MD5 function.
Still no results. I get alternating messages of "access denied" and "authentication required".
So what is there left for me to do, without doing a full reinstall? I have entered many many parameters, and don't want to loose them.
That would be days work to correct all the settings. There are a few customisations in the code as well, but I have a backup of those.

Suggestion - Ability to Add Video Files for Help - Knowledge Books & Support Tickets

Hi All

With supporting our users, we use Teamviewer and it records the session.  It would be great if we could attach that file to the Ticket and have the option so we can use it for internal use or send to the user.

It would also be great if you could add the video to the Knowledge books.

The file type is TVS file.

I have updated to osTicket 1.10.1 a few days ago. And I was not receiving this error before.

Hello all, 

New user here and so far loving the product.  I'm fairly new setting these things up but I was finally able to set up and get osTicket running on localhost network.

My question/request help is the following:

I want to use osTicket for our fairly small support department. However, we are not allowed to set osTicket on the internet, meaning only people on our internal network can access osTicket as long as they are on our network.  So far I've managed to set that up.

Currently we get our support tickets through email, Outlook to be specific, through a specified inbox.  Customers email us, we reply back and track the case on a spreadsheet once it has been resolved.

My question is, can osTicket pull emails from our inbox and automatically create a ticket without it being on the internet?  Or is that not possible and it needs to be on the internet?  Eventually the setup will be on MS server box and can only be accessed internally.

Any help or feedback is appreciated.

Hi.

Is there a way to stay in the ticket after posting an internal note or a reply?

In many cases I want to do both, and I'm kinda tired of having to enter the ticket several times bacause it always sends me to the ticket list afterwards.

Canned response - Always first

Hi.

Canned responses is always put at the beginning of the text field.

Before I upgraded to 1.10.x I could place the cursor in beteen any part of the text I had already written and insert a canned response. But now, I can't.

Can you fix this?

Date selection from calendar issue

Hello there,

We selected the Date and Time Format to Advance in the System settings and the date format was selected like the UK date format. dd/MM/y

We have some custom forms contains Date and Time type fields. If we select a date from calendar the date shows incorrectly in the field. See the screenshot. It shows correctly on the ticket when it's opened

If we correct the date or manually put the date into the field on ticket shows the actual date of the creation of the ticket instead of the date was typed into the field.

It seems a bug. Have you got a solution?

Cannot delete custom form from help topic

Hello guys,

We are looking to for to use OSTicket in our environment so we installed OSTicket and upgraded to the latest version. We started to test it and a problem come across. I've created a help topic and added a custom form to it. I wanted to delete this form and added another one so I clicked on the bin and saved the changes but the form still there and cannot get rid of it. Did I do something wrong or is this a bug?

Sorry if this topic already answered somewhere but if I searched 'Cannot delete custom form' something else showed up.
