Tiempo de inactividad del usuario - Login

Buenos dias, quisiera saber desde donde tengo que configurara el tiempo de inactividad de los usuarios que quieren crear tickets, para que no le pida constantemnet loguearse para crearlos.

auth-oauth - Google

Hi, I installed the auth-oauth plugin for Google (https://github.com/osTicket/osTicket-plugins) I followed the instructions and generated the auth-oauth.phar file, and set up my account Gsuite correctly.

Unfortunately after entering my Google credentials, I am redirected to the page http: //domain.ext/osticket/api/auth/ext? State = 78f5c8f0c80 ..... 00885918937eb & code = 4 / PADh ....... ... WSJ03U3-PwrEL2i4N74uahVQ1X63ZoFxbpcnjfwqIX8VD azaa7k ........ #

"File Not found"
Do you have any idea to solve the problem?

Hello,

we are using osticket directly in the webinterface and over api.
Now we just want auto assign the tickets with a specific help topic that come throw the api.

Is it possible and how?

We are using: v1.11.0-rc1

Limit Users/Organisations to specific help topics

Has anyone explored the idea of trying to limit help topics to certain users or organisations?

As an example, only allow users who are assigned to our shopfloor area to select a machining help topic and are not shown the IT help topics?


Multiple Departments limit Help Topic

Hi I am using osTicket v1.10.1 and setup multiple departments it works great, tickets are showing fine based on assigned department, I have created new SLA for each department and templates too

The only thing so far I am lacking following:
Limit the Help Topic by deparmental bases
    example: if IT dept selected it should only list Help Topic for that department

Limit Agent by departmental bases
   example: only list Agents of IT department, not all Agents

optional if possible to limit FaQ's departmental bases too

any help would be great

Missing Subject on Tickets

Hello- new to os ticket still currently in the setup/tweaking stages.
I created a new form called IT Support. When filling out the form the subject does not get recorded.
Please see this screenshots.  They show the tickets from the Agent View as well as filling out the form.

Scheduled Task for Cron Job

Hi,

I want to create a scheduled task so that osTicket retrieves new emails every 5 minutes. I have created a batch file that Windows server will run, and this has the command:

"C:\Program Files (x86)\PHP\v5.6\php.exe" C:\inetpub\wwwroot\api\cron.php

However, when I run this from the command line, i get the following error

PHP Fatal error:  Call to undefined method DbSessionBackend::cleanup() in C:\inetpub\wwwroot\include\class.cron.php on line 56

Can someone please help to resolve this issue?

Using MS Edge with self hosted osTicket

Hi,

We are using osTicket on our own server and it works without any issues with all browsers apart from Microsoft Edge. Are there any settings to the server that can resolve this? Edge is the default browser in Windows 10 and so necessitates every agent and user to change their default browser for the hyperlinks to work properly.

Our setup is:

Additional export column v1.11-rc1

First of all I would like to let you know I really like the improvements in v1.11.
However I have one suggestion. What I would like to see is an additional column for exporting tickets to CSV which will show the SLA plan name, now only the due date is a possibility. This would make my reporting a lot easier.

Users reply using the email is not added to the ticket thread

Hello,

Every thing is working fine and emails working when ticket created and when agent reply and the user receive an email with the agent reply 

The problem:
If the user replied to his ticket using the email the reply is not added to the ticket thread! 

Can you please Help us in this problem?

Improve "tasks"

Hy,

- You could create a simple calendar with all tasks on it to see when they are planified --> by Agent
- To give possibility to connect a task to a ticket !!! Or a few tasks to a ticket !!
- To give possibility to custom tasks form, like ticket form... and so statuses.

Email Fetching Not Working

I am trying to get email fetching to work, so that tickets can be created by emailing that email address, as well as adding comments to the existing tickets in the same manner. It doesn't seem to be working so far.

Default Log Level: DEBUG. No logs show under system logs.
No php error logs either.

osTicket v1.10.1 (9ae093d)
Web Server Apache/2.4.18 (Ubuntu)
MySQL 5.7.23
PHP 5.6.34-1+ubuntu16.04.1+deb.sury.org+1 (php7 is installed on machine, but osticket reports running under 5.6)
IMAP extension is enabled.


Emails -> Settings:

Email fetching is enabled, Fetch on auto-cron is off (I did not try with it on yet)
Accept All Emails is checked

Email config:

O365 address

Fetching email enabled.
Hostname outlook.office365.com
port 993
Protocol IMAP + SSL
Fetch frequency 1 minutes
Emails per fetch 10
Fetched Emails Move to folder "Processed" (this folder was manually created in the inbox separately)

Sending email via SMTP:

So far, the system seems to send email find (e.g. when new tickets or comments are added, I get emails). When I update the email config, it says it was updated successfully, and didn't note any auth errors. Emails -> Email Diagnostic works as expected.

But as far as I can tell, it never actually fetches anything from the inbox. The emails are unread and unmoved, and no new tickets or comments are created.

I originally was attempting to sniff packets to figure out if it ever connected at all, but never found the answer. My test was to update the email info and then capture the traffic for the next two minutes to see if it ever polled (as it is set to do it every 1 minute).. Upon submitting the form, it makes a connection to 40.97.166.162 (O365) on port 993 and starts a TLS session, sending several packets back and forth. It then connects to 40.97.121.34 on port 587. The connection then performs STARTTLS and thereafter is encrypted.

I attempted to sniff this traffic as well, and configured mitmproxy. I then realized it only supports HTTP and HTTPS, or at the very least not SMTP. I have not yet tried other sniffing tools.

Any ideas?




Facebook integration plugin

I have created a Facebook integration plugin that allows customers to create tickets by sending messages to a Facebook page. When the staff answers the response will be posted back to Facebook so the customer never has to leave Facebook.

This is an early version which needs more testing and not really ready for production. If anyone is interested in testing and/or developing this further, please let me know.

This has been implemented as a pure plugin, no core files has been modified. With that said there are some things that could be changed upstream to make this even better.
Wishlist for upstream changes:
  • The sources for tickets are hardcoded. So tickets from Facebook can only have the source "Api" or "Other". I would be nice to have these dynamic so it could say "Source: Facebook"
  • To post responses back to Facebook I tap into the signal "model.created". Even though this work, it would be nice to have a proper way of creating new ticket sources in plugins.
Todo for this plugin:
  • To get this plugin to work you need to specify some Facebook tokens and other ids which is not so user friendly. A better way of setting it up would be nice
  • To set the help topic you need to specify the raw help id. A dropdown would be nicer.
  • No paging is implemented. If there is more new content to be fetched between polls to Facebook, than returned in one request, they might be lost.

In Osticket, on the menu "users", We can see, by choosing a user, all the tickets of this user, which is usefull.

BUT

- by default, we see all tickets even tickets "closed". So it would be more logical to see only tickets opened by default, and create select list with possibility to chose statuses "closed", "archived", "all statuses" if we want to see ALL the tickets.

Problems with Search

We upgraded to 1.10.4 a few days ago and noticed the search/autocomplete is no longer working.  This is making it so we're unable to add collaborators to any ticket.  Below is one of the errors, ever search we try throws an error similar to below.

Plugin TinyMCE

Here's a plugin that will allow you to replace the default redactor editor with TinyMCE

This is mainly done as an expirement and also because the redactor version currently in use is getting a bit old.

I've mainly ported the functions that were available in redactor to TinyMCE so as of yet there's no extra functionality as such, but if i've missed something or you've a good idea please just suggest it.

  • Auto renewal of lock if you're typing
  • Canned responses
  • Context typeahead in templates
  • Drafts (uses tinymces autosave plugin)

buenas tardes, quisiera saber como puedo acceder a un nombre de usuario que hace el login por Active Directory? en el AD ya lo corregi pero no lo veo reflejado en el sistema y cuando intento ingresar a modificarlo desde el directorio de usuario no me deja:
