Configure an alert to the user upon ticket assignment change?

Hello, is it possible to configure osticket 1.9.14to send an alert to the user upon ticket assignment change?

We have an agent that will distribute our tickets to other agents.  Is it possible to easily send a reply to the ticket user that their ticket has been assigned to an agent?  Currently the only way to do this would be to send a canned message reply, then drill back into the ticket and assign.
