Can someone please authoritatively confirm / deny that it is possible to enable SSL encryption of the database connection.
The only references I've located so far would seem to indicate that it was in the config files as a future feature and then later that it *should* work but to refer to a documentation section that doesn't appear to exist.

I can use the OS level mysql client to connect to the database, so it would appear that the server-side of things is properly set-up, but as soon as I enter the same configuration items in what would appear to be the appropriate locations in the config, it all falls apart.
