Hello there,
we recently installed osTicket V1.10 as an upgrade to our existing osTicket installation.
Ever since, we encounter the following issue:
- When the user sends an email to our ticket system or replies to a ticket using email and
if this email contains german umlaute for example, the body of the ticket is empty.
- As soon as the user leaves out the special characters, everything works fine.
We were able to fix this issue on our side by manually applying this fix:
Will this fix move into the actual osTicket software in a future update or is it a misconfiguration of our server?
Our system is running the following software:
osTicket Version | v1.10 (901e5ea) — Up to date |
Web Server Software | Apache |
MySQL Version | 5.5.54 |
PHP Version | 7.0.16 |
