I Need A Few Lines Of Code

I need a bit of help. I installed osTicket and it appears to be running fine. The index or Landing page needs a bit of editing. It's suggested I edit in GitHub and that's fine.

So ... I need to add two things: a header banner across the top, and on the right side of the top (next to SUPPORT CENTER) I want to place two small buttons on top of each other.

I need the code and where to place that code. For the buttons, just "http://support.*" is the URL as I can add the full URL later on. The two button images will go in /img/. I'll fill in URL after.

Pretty please? My goto friend is on vacation so I'm stuck

Adding Field from Custom Form on Ticket Header List

Hi,

I tried to search this for a couple of days now, but still no luck. My question is, it is possible to add a new field from a custom form on the ticket header?. 
I have a custom form with a value of "Person Affected", Department, Location, etc., I want to add the "Person Affected" column in the middle of Subject and From column. 

I'm using v1.10

How to add a collaborator manually during the creation of of new ticket for clients??
We require that feature in our organization when a client want to inform another collaborator of other organization..

Osticket 1.10.1 - Post internal note

Hi

I have tried to search but not quite sure how to word it, if someone could advise that would be great and thank you in advance.

When we post an internal note on a ticket, it automatically goes back to the open ticket view, ideally would would like to stay within the same ticket and just see the internal note added on refresh, is there an easy way to change a setting?

External Reporting via PHP

Hi, for basic monitoring i have written a bit of PHP that results in below, however i like to monitor the re-opened tickets as a way of monitoring the quality of the close. However we get a lot of people re-opening tickets to say thanks, which is great but it does mess up the stats. My question really is if there is a way to report a closed reason, for example we have a normal closed, but if we could have a "re-closed on thanks" option and then not to report on these?

Probably not possible but though I'd ask if anybody has any ideas?

Search is empty

I recently moved my OSTicket from a Windows server to Ubuntu. Everything else appears to be working, but searching does not bring up anything. Other posts I have read state that the fix was in an update to OSTicket. I am running the most recent version, 1.10.1. Even matching the case in the search does not seem to work. Searching the ticket number does work, but that is not a common search for us.

Any suggestions?

Last updated field not updating when reply or note is added to a ticket

Whenever I try to add an internal/reply to a ticket the last updated field is not updated at the same time. Meaning incorrect sorting takes place on the ticket list. 

How can I ensure that when a ticket is updated the last updated field also gets updated at the same time?

Hi,

I am looking to add to the FAQ part of the ticketing system. I would like the post to tell us who created the FAQ, Their job role and the date created. as well as an who updated part and when they updated it. and it needs to be able to be seen by anyone who can view the FAQ.

Whether this is done automatically through the system, or even a simple drop down selection either will be fine.

Any suggestions?

1. My users submits a ticket - everything works fine - I get notified. They get the auto response.
2. They click on the link in the email response that says "You can view this ticket's progress online." and the ticket system gives a 

Page Not Found

No page could be found at this address. 


XXXXXXX.com is where I removed my domain name of course. It is spelled right in the actual link.

I just upgraded to v1.10.1 (9ae093d).  I can login and see the ticket and I can email or directly respond - it seems like everything is working only they cannot click the link to view the ticket.

Any help would be awesome!

"Mark as answered" missing

Hi guys,

Small but very irritating issue, maybe someone has a quick fix?
It seems on 80% of tickets the options to "mark as answered" is not there, but on the remaining 20% it is. I cannot see any reasons for this.

List of all tickets (open or closed) not displayed

Once I log into the agent panel the total of open tickets is 31 which is correct but the list of the tickets (open or closed) are not displayed. The dashboard is correct - the admin panel displays ok. OST hosted by Godaddy.

Each day, either my main site or support.* has a fatal error. If I fix one, the other dies. Main site is Wordpress wp-config.php. osTicket is /support/ost-config.php

i already have an gmail setup on osticket v.1.10.1 an set that email as a default , but when i want change a setting little bit for that email and i clicksave changes , i get this error

it used to be work on my laptop, BUT when i put in to windows server 2008.... that error comes out

I received error in PHP logs while trying to use the advanced search filter options in the ticket (as attachment) and got blank page after that. I have already used 5.6 version of PHP but still occur same error.

HTTP 500 error when creating new ticket

Good day,

Few days ago suddenly system starts showing HTTP 500 error when I want to create new ticket. I'm entering all necessary information and then after pressing "create" my browser shows me HTTP 500 error.

Could you please help me?
