Response in email as individual emails.

We recently started with osTickets.
What we see is that all the collaborators get email update as individual email.
May be it's done from privacy point of view.

Issues :
When there are multiple collaborators in the thread, it's sending those many emails.
When collaborators want to reply that mail, one has to add others specifically.

Is there anything in configuration where-by it will send single email to all email addresses?
Can there be an improvement to be able to specify while posting reply if it should go as individual email or a single email?
Any way to select who should be in BCC.

apache2 on ubuntu 14.04 server



You can see the page here 

I am working on a public page for our techs to look at glance to see how many tickets are open and how many are closed. I would like to use a bootstrap panel  to show the 10 latest open tickets. I have the panel set up with dummy variables to show how I would like it to look. Any help would be awesome. I can connect to the database and query the database to get the info I wan,t but I just don't know how to get it to the panel.

I would like to produce a report on the status of open tickets via an RSS feed, XML chain, or some kind of API that doesn't require a login by the web user.

Hello,

 I am trying to make a form that when first Drop down menu is choosen then the specific fields show up in the form for that choice. A different choice shows a different form. For example, I want to make a HR form for onboarding new users, depending on how that user comes on as an employee; Independent contractor, Part-Time, International Contractor, i.e. Each of those Users requires different paper work requirements.

Is this possible or do I have to use seperate forms ?

Configuring cron.php on Windows Server

So I've just gotten ost set up and I'm having some issues with cron.php.  I can spell php but beyond that I'm a complete novice. :)  What exactly is the syntax for getting it configured?  If someone could post a complete cron.php that I could reference I'd really appreciate it.  Particulars are below:

osTicket: v1.9.14
Web Server: IIS/8.5
MySQL: 10.1.14
PHP: 5.3.28
PHP folder: c:\Program Files (x86)\PHP\v5.3\
osT folder: c:\inetpub\wwwroot\support\

Hi guys. I was wondering if anyone can help me? For the past few weeks I've been battling to try and set up my email which I'm currently using office 365 and go daddy is my website host. Basically I cannot get the Sending Email via SMTP function to work. Every time I put in the details it goes red saying 

Failed to connect [SMTP: Failed to connect socket: Connection refused (code: -1, response: )]

Has anyone had this problem and does anyone know of a fix it?

Edit columns in default ticket view

Is there anyway to edit the columns displayed in the default 'Open Tickets' view?  For example, right now it shows Ticket, Date, Subject, From, Priority, Assigned To......Is there anyway to have it show additional columns, for example Department?  It would be really helpful fopr us to be able to see what department a ticket is currently in without having to go into the ticket first.  We have multiple people responsible for assigning tickets to their applicable departments and it would it be helpful if they could see that info immediately.  Thanks!

V1.10-rc3 LDAP Authentication and Lookup

I know this has been seen before, but the LDAP Authentication and Lookup plugin is broken due to php5 security update.

I'm trying to set it up to authenticate to our Active Directory

This results  in a error 500 page.

The first problem was this error in the log files:
Access level to Net_LDAP2_Schema::__construct() must be public (as in class PEAR)  in phar:///<path to osticket install>/include/plugins/auth-ldap.phar/include/Net/LDAP2/Entry.php on line 0

I extracted the files from the phar, found the entries for __construct and made the 'protected' to be 'public'
I repacked the phar and tried to setup. 

This is the error that is shown in the logs now:
PHP Fatal error:  Call to undefined method Net_LDAP2::PEAR()

The error 500 page also shows up, along with the undefined method error above when trying to save the configuration of the plugin.

Local account authentication still works. 

It would be nice to have this plugin updated to reflect the new security of php5.

How to add content of a Help Topic (including the form) to mail notification

Hello,

We are running osticket v1.10-rc.2 (231f11e).

I am trying to add the full content of custom help topic (including the form) to the mail notification sent to the agent when a new ticket is created.

I added practically all the supported variables to the mail body but I never obtained the content of the custom form.

Which value do I have to add to make it visible?

First off - 1.10RC3 has been released

For me I am about to install and test this newest release of osTicket and will post some of my feedback here shortly. As I have mentioned in the past I am most excited about the addition of tasks but as I personally would be using osTicket in mid-large corporate installs it truly depends on how they are implemented to see if they can be truly useful in the types of settings I'd want to use this solution in.

Looking forward to what others post. Also of note I cannot tag this post with the latest release.....

How to set global default language?

Hi everyone

I´m running osticket 1.9.5, already have es_ES.phar in include/i18n and i wanted to set Spanish Language global (for admin, staff and users sections), is that posible? i know hot to set it to my profile but not globally.

Issue with username since 1.9.12

Since the upgrade to 1.9.12 we came up with an issue.

We got a e-mail form which sends the mails with Google Apps (verkoop@xxx.nl) to our support mailbox (support@xxx.nl)
The e-mails do have the following from/reply-to settings.

In Osticket we created a filter which sets the reply-to e-mail address if available.

But when the e-mails are gettings inside osticket the name of customer (in this case test1248) is not being used by osticket.

Sorting Issue on ticket number

Hi Everyone,

osTicket version 1.9.7
PHP Version 5.6

While sorting the on ticket number (Closed & Open) it does not sorted out correctly, Some random tickets are displayed in between.  Screen shoot is attached. If we export it, Excel is able to sort it correctly.

Even if we sort tickets in descending order but still it is displayed in ascending order.

Numeric Usernames not working

I am using the latest stable version of osticket and I am trying to create users whose user id is purely numeric ( eg:  1045374) . Alphanumeric and alphabetic usernames are working without issues. Numeric user ID is not working and getting authentication failure errors. Any idea on this issue?

On new server , while decompressing the "Ticket_docs" folder having the ticket Attachments,with encrypted file name and without file name extension, the resulted folder is empty. i have de-compressed the BACKUP file using CPANEL . Could you please help me , how to de-compress this backup folder.

Printing Multiple Tickets to PDF

Hi,

Just wanted to know if there was any customised function to export multiple PDF's in one time.

Every month I need to export 70 to 100 tickets to PDF and was wanting to see if there was an easier way.

osTicket Version is 1.9.5.1

Appreciate any assistance.
