Change form in ticket detail

Dear all,

My osTicket information:

osTicket Version: v1.10 (901e5ea)    
Web Server Software: Apache/2.4.17 (Win32) OpenSSL/1.0.2d PHP/5.5.38
MySQL Version: 10.1.13

PHP Version: 5.5.38

Now I want to change the ticket form, add, remove information field in ticket detail, is it possible?image

Hi ntozier,
I Go To:
Admin panel -> Manage ->  Forms -> Ticket Details. 
Want to make visibility phone field required, But unable to edit this field.

"n" days search filter not fetching required data in advance search

When someone tries to search tickets for "n" days in advance search, it shows 'no data is available ' every time even if we have tickets matching our criteria. 

Osticket version - v1.10
Apache - 2.4.18 (Ubuntu)
MySQL version- 5.7.20
PHP version - 5.6.32

Steps:

1. Advanced Search -> Created -> 'in the last n days '

After search system does not fetch any data.

Brazilian Portuguese Translation Issue

Hi,

There's a issue on Brazilian Translation, in the login page (client and admin), the username placeholder is set to 'CPF' and acctually should be 'Usuário'.
How can I change this translation? I already look in the login.php file and osTicket project in Crowdin, but I can't find this translation page there.



DB-Error after try to use advanced search

I tried to use the advanced search function.
I have not done anything essential.
Suddenly I get this database error.

I can not do anything anymore.
No matter which site I call, I always get this error.

What can I do ?

Collaborators not added from CC if configured email is not in To:

I don't know if this behaviour started as a result of my many patches or becouse of the upgrade (checked released notes) but:

If email is sent to osticket@domain.com, a ticket is created properly and collaborators added from CC
If email is sent to mailgroup@domain.com (Exchange mail group that contains osticket@domain.com), a ticket is created but no collaborators are added from CC

Hello everyone!

I have the folowing problem: My costumers must send me variable sets of data. The thing is that i don't know, in advance, how many sets of data will be submitted. Is there a way to do that without customization?

If it's not clear, that's an example:

My clients use Osticket to ask me help about their cell phones. Each one of them can have from 1 to .... cell phones. My form would be something like this:

  Number of phones: XXXX

According to the number of phones, osticket would present the folowing form XXXX times:

 Phone Numer: ....
 Phone Model: ....
 Contract ID: .....

Is it possible?

I'm having issues connecting to the osTicket setup page to get it going. Any help is greatly appreciated.

I was using OST for about an year without any problem. BUT after a PHP server reconfiguration my OST stopped working. I cannot login anymore.

I am sure that the following code line ...

... is causing the problem: 

Service Unavailable

The server is temporarily unable to service your request due to maintenance downtime or capacity problems. Please try again later.


When I delete this line the page works fine. BUT I cannot login AND the images don't load anymore.

- PHP Version 5.6.36
- OS: Linux br-hdi-web88.weblink.com.br 2.6.32-896.16.1.lve1.4.53.el6.x86_64 #1 SMP Sun Feb 18 08:20:42 EST 2018 x86_64

Can you realize any extension that is missing (or misconfigured) in my server?

LDAP plugin works on client sign-in or not? Any SAML plugin?

I'm using OST v1.9.8 on LAMP. PHP 5.6. MySQL 5.6

For the plugin "Authentication :: LDAP and Active Directory", there is an option under "Authentication Modes" to "Enable authentication of clients"
Does it work for client sign-in please?
Do we just turn on under Settings > Access > "End User Authentication Settings" ?

I'm also looking for SAML plugin for OST v1.9.8.

Saw the discussion:

But seems there is no more messages.
Anyone can share knowledge on SAML plugins for OST please?

Can someone provide me with a sample .csv for user import?
i´m trying to import users in OSticket v1.10 and get the error that he can´t map the header to the object fields or een bad data error.

The bad data error  i get when i replace the ; with , like suggested in the copy+paste import.

i have no idea what is going wrong and how to fix it.

I have a question about this plugin.
I tried to delete a ticket with attachment files (stored on disk), to see if files were deleted when ticket was.
i tried it and saw files were still here after to have deleted ticket. Is that normal ?

Could someone explain to me how HTTP Passthru is supposed to work? Maybe my expectations are not correct. I have ldap enabled, which does work. I was expecting to see the user not prompted to login if passthru was enabled. Using the latest v1.9.4-rc2.  IIS

Customize text shown to the user when he opens a ticket

Hello,

I customized to bottom of the form used by the user to open a ticket, modifying the corresponding form. I can modify what is shown below "problem details".
But I did not found how to add text near the selectbox with help topics (before/after) ? 
And I did not found how to add text near the user informations displayed at the top of the page (after "email :" and "client :").

How can I do ?

[FeatureRequest] Stronger notification in adminarea on new message

Hey there,

when i respond to a ticket and a user respond to this answer, two things happens:
1. I get an e-mail "New Message Alert" with the body "New message appendet to tickt #12345"
2. the little info-bubble increments by 1

So, is it correct, that i don´t get a stronger notification in the admin-area, than this little bubble?
I mean, the email is a nice hint that something happend, but in my opinion, there could be a stronger tip in the admin-area, too.

Sending e-mails with attachments

I am looking to limit the size of attachments that are sent via e-mail. 

So far I have searched but have not yet come up with anything. I allow attachments up to 256mb in size and would like to limit attachments on e-mails to 10mb.

Good afternoon,

We are installing an osticket and a question arises.

We are going to pass users with passwords to our colleagues, but we want that a partner can only create tickets of a topic and another partner can only create tickets of another topic. It can be configured?

If you do not understand our question well, let me know and I will try to explain it in another way.
