I am facing exactly the same issue like Mike15 in the thread "FAQ: character ""
While editing kb articles I recogniced that I cannot use "<" (less-than sign) within articles.
My system informations:
osTicket-Version: v1.10 (901e5ea) — Aktuell
Server-Software: Apache
MySQL-Version: 5.6.33
PHP-Version: 5.6.29-nmm1
I have installed the german language pack. I set back the language to English(default), but the issue is still there.
I have no mods installed.
Is there any solution, so i can use the less-than sign in kb-articles?

PS: during looking for threads to that issue in the forum, I found out,
that it is not possible to search for the "<" when it is the last
character in the search string, p.e. "articles <" does not highlight
"<" in the search results whereas "< articles" does hightlight the
"<" sign.
Thanks!
While editing kb articles I recogniced that I cannot use "<" (less-than sign) within articles.
If I use it the text is cuttet at the point where the "<" is until the point at the end of the sentence.
It is working within the headline field.
Other characters like ">" or "&" are fine.
