Hi, I will like to link my customer email to this osTicket. Means my customer just need to send email, and i shall able to receive the tickets from this system. Can anyone please guide me how to setup this function? Thank you

I am frequently fetching the below error in the system logs.
Could you please let us know, what need to be done in order to avoid below issue.

"Excessive errors processing emails for imap.mail.yahoo.com/
"My Email Address".in. Please manually check the inbox."

Email Template issue

Hi,

We could see that the complete e-mail thread is not appearing in osTicket tool whenever we post reply from the tool and only the original message is appearing. Please let me know if there is any variable that we can use to display the complete ticket thread.

Please find the below configuration details.

osTicket Version v1.10 (901e5ea)
Web Server Software Apache/2.4.25 (Win32) OpenSSL/1.0.2j PHP/7.0.18
MySQL Version 10.1.22
PHP Version 7.0.18

auto-response problem

hiya,
I have following settings:
1. Emails - New Ticket Settings - Disable for this Email Address - ticked
2. Agents - Departments - MyDepartment - Autoresponder Settings: new ticket&new message - Disable for this Department

but I still receive notification. Why?

Issues with formatting

I've recently found out that if one of our clients responds to an email that contains HTML the response box loses all formatting (Please see the image)

Logo resize

I've managed to upload my own logo and have got it looking fine in the scp but for the client side the logo is huge across the top that it overlaps the login link. I've changed the size in the theme.css, see below

  width: 319px;
  height: 28px;
  float: left;
}

Really the logo is displaying more like 800px wide by 80px high

Integrating Steam OpenID Authentication

I'm looking to find a way to integrate Steam's OpenID Authentication into the osTicket system so that my users and agents can log in with their Steam credentials instead of a Username/Password. There are plenty of PHP libraries online that function with the Steam OpenID authentication successfully, I'm just not sure how to go about integrating it into the authentication system for osTicket.

Hi together,

we are using ost (the German version) since a while.
At the moment we are in the set-up process for a new project. This time we are using the original version 1.10 with the language extension.
To use the right form of salutation we need to know if the client is female or male.

Our problem now is, that the field to create option or selection fields is not able to translate.
Is it just because we have not find the right option / field, or how are you handling this "problem"?

I'm a HelpDesk admin and manager on my business OsTicket Installation.
I have 2 co-workers/employers.

I need to see each activity.
How I can monitor them in a easy way ?

I think about some kind of "activity stream". I'm using such feature on AutoIt Forum which is using IPBoard ForumEngine.

Could you show me, any way to use comparable feature with OsTicket ?

I think also my co-worker/employers should be happy with using Acitvity stream instead getting email's for all activity.

Signing out fails and errors

G'day guys,


I've only come across (so far maybe) this issue with the work around in place. The error is when I go to log out it shows the following:

Any ideas? I've obviously cleared my cache and done all the normal checks. It is reproducible on IE, Firefox and Chrome.

I answer a trick that contains a domain name for example:

something.com

Everything is OK

But if that domain name
contains www for example:

www.something.com

When I look at my answer I see that http:// was added in front of the domain name. Like this:

http://
www.something.com

I also tried other combinations like:

'www.something.com' I get 'http://www.something.com'
"
www.something.com" I get "http://www.something.com"

Blank Popups on both Client and Admin Side

I'm running Ubuntu 16.04/PHP7/Nginx (YES I know this isn't officially supported)/osTicket 1.10. The software is fairly unusable the way its currently functioning. No matter what I click on with cgi.fix set to 0 or 1 it makes no difference, I receive blank popup windows by trying to update an agents password, when I select delete on a ticket and the confirmation window pops up, even submitting a ticket the thank you window is a blank popup. Basics like configuring settings, forms, etc all work until it gets to a part requiring a popup. I've read many posts about AJAX errors, and more but none related entirely to what I'm experiencing/my configuration. Appreciate any help in advance!

Hi,
is there a way to define ticket templates with different basic information, let's say a kind of "quick tickets"?

For example:
We have a lot of standard requests like:
- Reset Password
- End User Session
- Unlock document

Is there a way to define kind of different ticket templates which can quickly applied to these standarized use cases? Least effort would be if the ticket input fields are depend on the preselected ticket template. Is this possible with standard osticket or a plugin?
