Attachements removed when ticket is edited

All,

Has anyone seen this before or know what the issue is? We have upgraded recently to 1.10 and now have issues where when tickets with attachments are edited by agents sometimes the attachments are being removed.

Example 1

How to manage tickets assigned to agent

My agents ask me How they can to see in an easy way ticket assigned to them.
But they do not want to see all ticket's assigned to they team or department, but only personally asigned to specyfic agent.

We know there is "My tickets" tab, but for us this is little messing our work.

We was wondering if anybody (like we) would like to see few new tabs:
  • "My assigned" - this would be tickets: assigned to desired currently loggedin agent + assigned to agent team + assigned to department (you can say just the same like currently "My tickets"
  • "Assigned to me" -  this would be only tickets assigned to desired  currently loggedin agent 
  • "My Team" -  this would be only tickets assigned to agent teams
  • "My Department" -  this would be only tickets assigned to agent departments
  • "My own" - all tickets that was created by desired currently loggedin agent

Our goal was to clearly indicate how many entries are assigned to me exactly, the team, the department.
Such a distinction should better organize our work in our office.
We could more easily discuss problems together during the "storm of the brains".

What you think about this ?

Hi,

I installed ostickets and have problem with installing storage-fs. I can't see it under download plugins.

All the info that I get:

Deleting a department

Good afternoon,
I need to "Close" a department, but keep all the old tickets in case we ever need to go back and look at them.
Is there a way to do this? The only option i see in 1.10 is to DELETE the department, and I am assuming this would also wipe out all the tickets with it.

hola a todos tengo una pequeña consulta en ostiquer existe alguna forma de que se agrege el campo de departamento actual mente los ticket que se crean se agregan en automatico pero lo que quiero es que el usuario pueda agregar manual mente esta parte, el departamento hacia donde va requerir ayuda

Time Settings, Locale/Advanced

Hello,
After upgrading from 1.9 to 1.10.1 i've found an issue with the time on my system,
Setting to Sydney, Australia Locale Defaults shows the date and time in thew ticket page, but the Month and Day are reversed.
I attemtped to switch this by using Advanced settings, but as soon as i choose advanced i lose the time and date completely from the tickets & ticket view.
Is this a bug or something i'm doing wrong ?

We get this error in a dialog.  Settings show attachments enabled and 64MB limit in size.  Also no other restrictions.  Attachments work via email.  We have been using for a couple of months.  This feature has never worked.  Drag and Drop and the file dialog both have the same result.


i failed to find anything on the topic that was a good match.

Any ideas would be appreciated

I broke it. I accidentally uploaded files to /support and it broke my script. Since I don't know what should'nt be there, count you please list the files and folders that should be there?

I wasn't in Windows so can't compare file directories

I need a bit of help. I installed osTicket and it appears to be running fine. The index or Landing page needs a bit of editing. It's suggested I edit in GitHub and that's fine.

So ... I need to add two things: a header banner across the top, and on the right side of the top (next to SUPPORT CENTER) I want to place two small buttons on top of each other.

I need the code and where to place that code. For the buttons, just "http://support.*" is the URL as I can add the full URL later on. The two button images will go in /img/. I'll fill in URL after.

Pretty please? My goto friend is on vacation so I'm stuck

Adding Field from Custom Form on Ticket Header List

Hi,

I tried to search this for a couple of days now, but still no luck. My question is, it is possible to add a new field from a custom form on the ticket header?. 
I have a custom form with a value of "Person Affected", Department, Location, etc., I want to add the "Person Affected" column in the middle of Subject and From column. 

I'm using v1.10

Hi everybody,
Thanks a lot for developing such an
awesome ticketing system, I appreciate every seconds and minutes you
spend on helping others.

We have osTicket (v1.10) installed on our server.

We need a feature to autorespond all new tickets created after 4 PM to 9 AM every day and also in weekends.

For example:

A user create a ticket on Saturday (not a working day) or after 4 PM in a working day, osTicket autorespond this message:

"It's not a working time, we will follow your issue tomorrow between 9 AM and 4 PM"

I read too many topics and searched a lot but couldn't find any solution, Please tell me if you have any idea.

Here's a plugin that will allow you to replace the default redactor editor with TinyMCE

This is mainly done as an expirement and also because the redactor version currently in use is getting a bit old.

I've mainly ported the functions that were available in redactor to TinyMCE so as of yet there's no extra functionality as such, but if i've missed something or you've a good idea please just suggest it.

Suggestion for pending work flow

Hi


I've come from OTRS and I loved the ability to set a ticket as pending for how ever long it was felt needed. As an example being a service company we send out parts for advance warranty replacement. The customer is given 14 days to return the product so we set the ticket to pending for 14 days, it disappears out of the open ticket page and everything is nice a clean. It then pops back in 14 days, has the returned item come back yes?/no? chase product or close ticket.


I would love to do that with OSTicket. A ticket comes in, I set the SLA to 14 days advance warranty but the ticket still sits in the queue and other tickets gather around it. 


I tried shifting the ticket to another department that I called Advance Warranty, thinking it would move away from the open tickets into a department that the user wasn't assigned to but because the ticket was assigned to a team it doesn't move from that team.


Has anyone any suggestions how I could work flow this kind of requirement? I'm up to 3 pages of tickets because of pending tickets for various reasons and it looks a mess.

Now, i created a custom variable, but I added this variable into the User information, now, i tried to modify the export.php file but doesn't work.
how i can add this field/data into the export file?
